How To Make Big Use Of A Small Space
How To Make Big Use Of A Small Space

Urban lifestyles are changing rapidly into smaller environments. Urban complexes and apartments seem to be the way to go therefore compactness of furniture and technology is important for these small urban abodes.

In many apartments, kittens are often too small for comfort. Designers all around the world are creating compact units that could comfortably fit all necessary kitchen equipment in a very small space.

Here are some of the coolest solutions from designers like Kristin Laass, Norman Ebelt, Robert Schierjott, Ulrich Kohl, Farziska Winter, Katrin Sillmann and Ulrike Sandner and more.

These kitchens are compact and amazing at saving space while providing all the needed means for cooking and storing.

One of the smallest kitchens in the gallery is the small modular kitchen created by German designers Kristin Laass and Norman Ebelt. The kitchen occupies only one square meter when closed and can serve as a dining table at this state. Yet this amazing unit still serves as an induction cooktop, a refrigerator, an oven and a storage space for different kitchen tools and tableware.

My favorite of the lot is the gorgeous red unit from Compact Concepts occupies 1.8 square meter of space and features all characteristics of usual kitchen. The kitchen is fully circular, rotating a full 180 degrees and incorporate everything from kitchen sink and dishes to microwave and dishwasher.
