How Important Is Colour When Designing a Spa
How Important Is Colour When Designing a Spa

Colour invokes emotions so it is of the outmost importance to think carefully about what you want patrons to experience within the space.  At a spa, one wants to relax and enjoy the experience.  Warm colours, such as oranges reds and yellows, are passionate and can bring about a heightened sense of awareness.  Cool colours, like greens and blues, are better at creating calm environments.  Also use muted tones, nothing to bold or bright.  Greys, creams and whites can work very well and create a neutral palette that can be dressed with accessories, allowing the business owner to adjust the look of the spa easily if they chose to do a revamp in the future.
