When Heidi Klum stepped onto the Victoria Secrets runway in 2005 no one would have guessed two months earlier she had given birth to her son Henry. In less than 9 weeks the leggy German supermodel had lost just about every inch of her baby weight. Fast forward to 2009 and Heidi, one child later, is still looking hotter than ever. So just how does Heidi, mother to three and one on the way, manage to keep such a gorgeous body.
Get Motivated
Being an international supermodel Heidi knew that she has to get her body back into shape quickly if she wanted to get work. She reportedly was under contract to lose all her baby weight in just one month. Set goals e.g. have to lose weight before high school reunion. Stick a picture on your fridge of your favourite celebrity if you have to.
Grazing
Like many other celebrities, Heidi eats small meals frequently throughout the day. This is said to increase your metabolism and help your body burn excess fat. Because you are eating frequently your body will never go into starvation mode even though you are eating less. Many women make the mistake of eating less food fewer times in the day. This causes their body to latch onto every amount of food you take in as it goes into survival mode.
An Apple a Day
Instead of snacking on chips and on chocolates in between meals, when Heidi gets hungry she grabs an apple. This popular fruit choice is low in calories and contains high pectin content which makes the body feel as though it is full for up to seven hours. Heidi also switches it up by eating a hard-boiled egg now and again.

Get Food Smart
Heidi watches just about everything she puts in her mouth. To avoid looking bloated she stays away from dairy products. Forget about no carbohydrates diets, Heidi knows that the body needs them. She instead only eats healthy carbs like lentils and beef. She also makes sure to get enough lean proteins.
No Late Night eating
Like Oprah Winfrey, there is no late snacking for Heidi. She refuses to eat anything after 8pm -eating late at night when you are less productive than in the day means that you will burn less calories.
If anyone knows how to lose weight and keep it off, it’s Heidi Klum. The blonde beauty knows how to take care of her body no matter what the circumstances.
