We all want to know what diet plan keeps Shakira looking so awesome. Shakira was blessed not only with exotic beauty and an enchanting voice; she was also blessed with the sense to recognize the importance of being a healthy, full-figured woman.

Shakira attributes her figure to her strict diet and exercise regimen. She says belly-dancing is not a way to keep your body in shape.

“Belly dancing is good but I think it makes your muscles too flexible which is fine but it is no good for the six-pack. If I wanted a six-pack, I would have to do a lot of sit-ups. I feast on egg whites or sometimes just a banana.”

Shakira’s Diet Plan

Breakfast:

1 glass of grapefruit or orange juice
1 slice of melon or pineapple
1 slice whole grain toast with low-fat cheese
Coffee or tea with a little nonfat milk

Snack:
1 apple, or
2 kiwifruit, or
1 peach, with a
Medium diet yogurt

Lunch:
Tomato and boiled spinach salad
Filet of tongue with half-tablespoon olive oil, or
1 lean grilled beefsteak, or
1 serving of pumpkin pudding, or
1 plate spaghetti with vegetables, and
1 cup fruit salad or 1 cup fruit compote

Snack:
1 nonfat yogurt, or
1 glass tomato juice, or
1 slice whole grain toast with white nonfat cheese

Dinner:
Vegetable soup
Lentils with tomato and broccoli
2 slices whole grain bread
1 peach, or
1 apple, or
1 serving diet gelatin with fruit, or
1 fruit salad

(You can alternate these and make up a weekly diet plan for yourself)

Shakira stays away from certain forbidden foods such as alcohol or caffeinated coffee, smoke, sweets (although a chocolate now and again will not harm you), and junk food.

Along with eating and exercising healthily, Shakira also remembers to have her beauty rest. The star claims to eat in a balanced way. No over-eating and no starving either. Some exercises, but Shakira is not perfect at fulfilling them regularly. She has a hobby, dancing, that helps her to look amazing!
