Kim Kardashian has one of the most talked about bodies is Hollywood. Unlike most A-list celebrities whose waif-like figures gain headlines for all the wrong reasons, Kim is curvy and proud. Kim’s body is admired for all the right reasons – and her infamous behind makes front page news by itself. If you are a curvy girl but want to keep toned like Kim then keep reading.
Unlike many size zero wannabe celebrities, Kim realizes that she just isn’t meant to be stick thin. But because she is proud of her voluptuous body doesn’t mean that she should let herself go. She recently embarked on a diet and fitness routine to make sure she keeps her curves toned and cellulite free.
Night out in the Town
Exercising doesn’t have to be bland and boring. When Kim isn’t doing her cardio routine at the gym she’s out on the town dancing the fat away. But you’ll hardly find her crawling out of a club half drunk – she’s all about having fun with friends. Dancing is the perfect way to work up a sweat as you will be too busy enjoying yourself to notice how hard you are working out. Kim loves dancing so much she even joined the celebrity list on Dancing with the Stars. But don’t think that visiting the hottest clubs in town is the only way Kim stays fit. She reels in the help of her running back boyfriend, Reggie Bush, to help her train. If he’s not teaching her how to lift weights properly, they’re jogging up a storm on the treadmill. Kim is also set to launch her new workout video, Kim Kardashian: Fit in Your Jeans by Friday.
No Starvation Diet
For Kim it’s all about staying thin while keeping her sexy curves. This means that while she does eat healthy foods, she doesn’t deprive herself of the good stuff. It’s all about moderation for Kim and she doesn’t mind throwing in the odd cheese burger here and there. What’s her No.1 junk food craving – deep fried Oreos! We don’t judge the girl because she’s just keeping it real.
Make a few changes
Before Kim decided to get fit, her diet included a tall white chocolate mocha from Starbucks for breakfast, chocolate chip cookies at snack time and pasta with chicken for dinner. But now that the Keeping up with the Kardashians star is watching her weight she has changed up a bit. She now eats oatmeal with bananas for breakfast, a grilled chicken salad for lunch and non fat yogurt with fruit during snack time. It’s doesn’t have to be all about rabbit food when trying to lose weight.
Don’t Stress
While it’s important that you stick to your diet and fitness routine, don’t be too hard on yourself. It’s not the end of the world, or in this case your diet, if you couldn’t resist popping into KFC or McDonalds. Dust yourself off and keep working at it. Set goals for yourself and make sure you see them through.
Giving up unhealthy foods can be very difficult. Do it the Kim way and don’t go cold turkey. If you try to give it up all at once you are more likely to crave everything you set your eyes on and end up eating more than ever.
Losing weight and keeping it off is a process. Try giving up one bad food habit a week. The same goes for your exercise routine. If you aren’t use to working out then start off by doing so once a week – as you build up strength, increase that to two days and then three. You will get so used to exercising and appreciate the rejuvenating feeling it gives you that before long you will be putting in five days a week of working out.
