Adriana Lima’s Diet Tips Brazilian supermodel, Adriana Lima, always looks super hot when she takes to the Victoria Secrets runway. Her toned abs and sexy legs are the envy of many and have men all falling over themselves just to get a glimpse. For the average woman, achieving a model’s body seems impossible but with a few tips from Adriana you can certainly get close to looking runway fabulous.

Diet
For Adriana it’s all about portion control. As the day progresses her meal portions get smaller. For breakfast, she might have oatmeal and raisins or muesli with plain yogurt. At lunch, she has a portion of meat with vegetables. For dinner, Adriana prefers to have a small salad. Unlike Gisele Bundchen, who claims to munch on cheeseburgers and whatever else she wants, Adriana prefers to keep her meals healthy. Instead of snacking on delicious and fattening chocolate she heads straight for raw vegetables. She also eats a spoonful of raw honey everyday as she says “it helps your immune system.” Water is an important part of her diet and she makes sure to drink plenty everyday to keep her skin clear and beautiful.

Exercise
Adriana doesn’t like exercising much or going to the gym for that matter. But when you are a Victoria Secrets model and have to walk down long runways, you don’t want to have shaky orange peel thighs. Because she travels a lot, Adrianna hardly has time to exercise so she usually goes jogging or runs on a treadmill for 30 minutes. To challenge herself a bit more Adriana has taken up boxing. It’s my favourite thing to do because it’s always exciting. It’s the best type of cardio that you can do. And you build up muscles without being too big.” Being from Brazil, she also does Capoeira to stay in shape.
This is the perfect exercise for people who don’t like boring gym routines like Adriana. Capoeira is a combination of martial arts, music aerobics and choreographed fighting. Adriana has also found other fun ways to skip strenuous exercising at the gym.

She jumps rope for 10 minutes, which she claims is like 30 minutes of running. Adriana also enjoys yoga to keep her body strengthened. Most models starve themselves and live on nothing but booze and cigarettes. Because many of them have fast metabolisms and are naturally thin, you might have to work a bit harder to achieve similar results.
  • Exercise Regularly: Not many people enjoy exercising but it’s important for not only models but every single person. Start off slow by dedicating 20 – 30 minutes of your day to exercising. You don’t have to go to the gym and you can go for a brisk walk or a steady jog to the park. Take the stairs instead of the elevator and walk the long way to your desk. You can even do simple exercises by your desk like use dumb bells while your work to tone your arms. Just as long as you keep active.
  • Drink lots of water: It’s rare that you spot a model or celebrity without a bottle of water in their hand. Water is very important and you need to drink at least six to eight glasses each day. Flavoured water does not count. Your skin will thank you for it.
  • Eat Healthy: You don’t have to eat rabbit food all day but try to work vegetables and fruit into your daily diet. Instead of reaching for that slab of chocolate why not head to the fruit aisle and grab a few grapes. This will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth. But if you can’t resist eat only two pieces of the slab and try to make it last all week instead of buying one a day.
The secret to getting a model’s body is to eat smaller portions of food frequently throughout the day and practicing moderation. Get yourself motivated by putting a picture of Adriana’s sexy bikini body on your refrigerator.
