Sevafrica hosted another espresso event and it went smoothly. Cheese and Wine on a Friday afternoon, seems like we have found everyone’s soft spot. 36 people who own or work for small businesses came to our networking event and found that it was extremely successful. In order for everyone to be acknowledged, each person had a chance to briefly speak about what their business has to offer. A thank you goes out to Mile’s Buxton from Buxton’s Liquors (www.buxtonsliquors.co.za) for providing the wine, Denise from Sunflower Florist (www.sunflowersflorist.co.za) for the beautiful decorative flower arrangements, Charlie Bosch from Durban Caterers for the delicious snacks and Anesh from Xclusive Decor (www.xclusive-decor.co.za) for providing the decor.

The Sevafrica foundation serves to entrench the ethos of the company which is to serve those that are disempowered with purpose and deed to improving their status in life. Key to Sevafrica’s success has been the ethos of “giving”; this strategy has led this young company to unparalleled levels of success. To date Sevafrica, has committed R2.5 million to the Sevafrica Foundation which is entrusted to roll out our “giving back philosophy”.
Our most recent initiative “The Easter Smile Campaign” which aimed to donate at least 1500 to under privileged in KZN was yet another success. Partnering up with Beacon SA we were able to donate 2016 eggs to needy children across the province.
Sevafrica is now proud to announce that its new partnership with East Coast Radio annual Winter Warmth Drive. While the campaign has been a success since inception, Sevafrica together with its membership has committed itself this year to help promote the campaign, in hope to donate even more blankets this chilly winter to underprivileged families in the East Coast.
We appeal to you to reach out and make a donation. Donate a blanket or cash to purchase new blankets and the Winter Warmth team of East Coast Radio will make sure that every single blanket reaches a deserving beneficiary.
The Sevafrica Foundation is committed to giving back to the community; in keeping with this initiative we have established an annual Easter smile campaign. Our goal this Easter is to donate 15000 eggs to needy, orphaned and lonely kids this Easter throughout Africa by the end of April 2009. Here are a few photos from some of the recipients
