Title: Bolt Release Date: Wednesday 24 December 2008 Genre: Comedy, Animation Cast: Susie Essman, Ronn Moss, Randy Savage, Nick Swardson, Miley Cyrus, Mark Walton, Malcolm McDowell, John Travolta, James Lipton, Greg Germann, Diedrich Bader.
For super-dog Bolt (voice of John Travolta), every day is filled with adventure, danger and intrigue at least until the cameras stop rolling. Thanks to his starring role on a hit television show, Bolt the pooch has become a household name. But Bolt has bought into his own heroic image, now believing that he really possesses the super-canine powers of his fictional television series.
However, the true test of Bolt's measure takes place when he is accidentally shipped from his Hollywood soundstage to New York City, and he begins his biggest adventure yet - a cross-country journey through the real world.
Armed only with the delusions that all his amazing feats and powers are real and with the help of two unlikely travelling companions in the shape of a jaded alley cat named Mittens (voice of Susie Essman) and a TV-obsessed hamster in a plastic ball named Rhino (voice of Mark Walton) Bolt ultimately discovers that he doesn't need superpowers to be a hero.
