"Had the privilege of working with a giraffe yesterday he was beautiful gentle and so amazing!" The 47 year-old actress wrote. Immediately, Twitter followers chimed in with critiques: "Sorry Demi that your self esteem is so low you can't admit to a little photoshopping," one follower sniped, adding "And Ghost sucked." A few hours later, another follower wrote, "Sorry but you look old. Especially your neck and cheeks at the second shot." This time, Moore posted a retort: "I'm 47 how am I supposed to look?" Moore has frequently denied that she's resorted to plastic surgery to retain her youthful appearance. She also fought charges that, for a recent W magazine cover, editors photoshopped her head on the body of a younger model with slimmer hips.
Sarah Jessica Parker thinks Miley Cyrus looks like a “Viking” and has revealed how astounded she was by the Hannah Montana star when she filmed her cameo for the next Sex and the City movie. Sarah said: "I was astounded by her height. Did you know that she's tall? She's like a Viking. I had no idea!” The actress, who reprises her role as writer Carrie Bradshaw in the big screen version of the US TV show, enjoyed working with 17-year-old Miley, even though their time together was brief. Brad Pitt is sinking his teeth into the current vampire craze by teaming up with the makers of Twilightto revisit the undead in a new bloodsucker movie. The Hollywood actor, who famously starred in 1994's Interview with the Vampire, is set to produce a new picture called Vlad, which tells the story of the young Count Dracula. The movie will focus on Dracula as a young prince and incorporate the true tale of Vlad the Impaler, the Romanian ruler said to have inspired Bram Stoker's legendary vampire. Brad's Plan B production company has joined forces with Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the massively popular Twilight franchise, for the venture.
Helen Mirren is going to be playing British monarch Queen Elizabeth II in the upcoming film Mother: The Indira Ghandi Story. This is a two-part biopic movie about the former Indian Prime Minister whom was assassinated in 1984. Tom Hanks and Tommy Lee Jones are in talks to join the cast, and will be playing former US President Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard Nixon, and Emily Watson is said to be playing former UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. The film will be directed by Krishna Shah who says, “This is the project of my life, both in its scale and the subject. I have been working on the script for over two decades and it is simply a story that has to be told. It took me years to find a way into her story, but I found it with her role as a mother - both to her family and to a nation with its teeming millions. Indira was India.”
Alec Baldwin has enjoyed success that many acting hopefuls dream of, but to him it has not been enough. The December issue of Men’s Journal features an article with the Emmy winning actor about his future career goals. The star of NBC’s hit comedy, “30 Rock,” shared some information that is likely to shock and sadden his fans. “I don’t have any interest in acting anymore,” he told the magazine, reports Reuters. According to the 51-year-old, it will be “pretty much it for him,” once his “30 Rock” contract is up. Although he stars in the upcoming movie, “It’s Complicated,” with Meryl Streep and Steve Martin, Baldwin did not express any passion for movie making. Instead, he would like to move on. “Movies are a part of my past,” he said. “It’s been 30 years. I’m not young, but I have time to do something else.” For someone who has an Academy Award nomination and beloved movies, such as “The Hunt for Red October,” this apathy seems odd. However, Baldwin sees nothing to be proud of in his movies. “I consider my entire movie career a complete failure. The goal of movie-making is to star in a film where your performance drives the film, and the film is either a soaring critical or commercial success, and I never had that.” The interview, hitting newsstands Friday, also addresses Baldwin’s love life and infamous voicemail in which he insulted his daughter.

Travolta, who has been married to Preston for 18 years, hates seeing his wife get intimate on-screen because he said he found it "hard to watch" his partner in bed with Hollywood's sexiest stars. However, he breathed a sigh of relief when she partnered up with Robin Williams for their new movie Old Dogs - because he's such a close pal of the actor. He says, "I have been jealous of many of her co-stars. I didn't like her making love to Tom Cruise. I didn't like her making love to Kevin Costner in Love Of The Game. It was hard to watch. All I can say is thank God for Robin. I adore Robin so it was OK with him."

Millionaire music mogul Simon Cowell is set to turns his millions into billions by taking his smash hit U.K. reality TV talent show The X Factor to the States. Simon found fame with his role as a judge on Pop Idol in Britain, which he took to the U.S. as American Idol in 2002 where he secured his 'Mr Nasty' reputation for his cutting comments and biting put-downs. In 2004, he launched The X Factor in Britain, which broadened the talent pool by allowing more than just singers to try their hand at the prize of instant fame, which in turn broadened the appeal of the programme too. It has been a question of ‘when’, rather than ‘if’ Simon would launch The X Factor stateside, and he has now confirmed it will happen. He tells BBC's News night, "I think the show will go to America. Snoop Dogg has revealed that he thinks being him is the hardest job in the world. The rapper insists that juggling fame with leading a regular life with his family is not as easy as it looks and he wants his fans to realise how “difficult” it is to be him. He said: “I wanted to tell how difficult it really is, the whole business. We make it look easy, but in fact it’s the hardest job in the world. And it’s not just about the pimp, it’s about the whole job. When you’re a cool player, then you just do your work, however hard it is, and you make it seem easy and relaxed.” He added: “I’ve always been good at multi-tasking. I’ve always been doing more than other people, even in the past. No matter if it was mowing the lawn, singing in the choir or selling drugs. Alanis Morissette has revealed her fondness for marijuana, insisting the drug helps in her songwriting process. The singer spoke about her cannabis use in a candid interview with High Times magazine, which is accompanied by a photo shoot taken in a marijuana garden in California. Alanis claims the plant is useful in unlocking her creative potential, saying, "I'm all about moderation - as best I can be. As an artist, there's a sweet jump-starting quality to it (marijuana) for me. I've often felt telepathic and receptive to inexplicable messages my whole life. I can stave those off when I'm not high. When I'm high - well, they come in and there's less of a veil, so to speak. So if ever I need some clarity... or a quantum leap in terms of writing something, it's a quick way for me to get to it. "I have a lot of friends who have wanted to specifically quit smoking marijuana because they felt that it was having a negative effect on their lives, and I absolutely supported them doing so. Then I have other friends who I've coerced into smoking because I thought it would be great for them." Alanis credits boyfriend Tom Ballanco, a medical marijuana advocate, with showing her the drug's benefits, adding, "I've always resonated with people who are on the front lines. Pop diva, Mariah Carey, hopes to lead a simple life one day. The pop queen is now apparently following advice of one of her superstar heroes. A famous singer once warned Mariah not to grow too accustomed to the easy life and now she insists one day she'll heed the advice by retiring her team of assistants and taking care of herself. She revealed: "A very famous diva once told me, 'Mariah, one day you're not going to want to have all these people around you.' She was taking her own bags off of the airport carousel and I really noticed that she was in control of her own life and doing things you don't need to have all these people around you (to do) and it's true." Mariah has refused to name the woman who passed on the advice, adding, "Who is she? I don't want to say her name because maybe she wouldn't be happy, but she's someone I've admired my whole life."

Lindsay Lohan has been ordered by a judge to attend alcohol education classes every week. The Mean Girls actress, who is on probation for a driving under the influence conviction, was ordered by Judge Marsha Revel that her classes must now take precedence over everything else. Speaking at the Superior Court in Beverley Hills the judge said: “I am going to order that this has to be done. It’s been long enough. “This has to be a top priority whether she has a job somewhere else or doesn’t or something else comes up. This has to be done once a week. “Right now, the other things will take second place and this will take first place.” Lindsay has a deadline of July 15, 2010, to complete the six months of programme time. In October, Lindsay was ordered to a Beverly Hills court amid rumours she was not complying with the court-ordered alcohol education lessons after feedback she has been "outright violating the terms of the programme".

Pink has lashed out at Britain’s Prince William after he failed to acknowledge or reply to her letter questioning his love of hunting, going as far as branding the future British king a "redneck"! Her outburst follows her having famously penned a cutting note to the prince after he invited her to play at his birthday celebrations in 2003. In the letter, she refused to perform at the bash and instead quizzed him on why he chose to kill animals as a hobby. Pink has previously lashed out at the royal for not answering her questions. The singer tells Q magazine, "I wrote to him to protest about foxhunting and I figured he would be this stuffy, privileged a**hole. But he's like a redneck from the south. If you're brought up shooting and hunting animals, if you really think it's second nature and you're blasting away then it's hard to see the other point of view. You need educating." Pink also took a swipe at Queen Elizabeth II, who also failed to reply to a letter she sent asking for her to stop using bearskin for her guards' hats. The singer adds, "To be truthful I was really surprised I didn't get a reply to that one. I wasn't just writing in and complaining, and it certainly was not a publicity stunt. I actually proposed a plan. Stella McCartney had designed these replacement hats for the guards using fake fur. I felt we were solving the problem for her and offering a viable solution. "But she never wrote back. Maybe she doesn't have any of my stuff on her iPod."
Even when she’s trying hard, Lindsay Lohan just can’t keep out of trouble. She flew to New Delhi last week to film a BBC documentary about human trafficking and poverty, but just hours after she arrived she made a Twittering mistake. She Tweeted, "Over 40 children saved so far... Within one day's work... This is what life is about. Doing THIS is a life worth living!!!" The charity organisations who conducted raids which saved dozens of children from illegal sweatshops were not amused by Lindsay’s exaggerated claims. A spokesman for Indian campaign group Bachpan Bachao Andolan complained that Lindsay wasn't "even in the country when this raid happened." The BBC have been forced to explain Lindsay’s comments. A spokesman said "Lindsay Lohan has just completed filming in India for a BBC Three project on child trafficking. We would like to stress that she did not say she was present at the raid, this is a misinterpretation. She was merely referring to a raid that happened connected to child trafficking – the subject of the programme."
Jennifer Aniston has been subpoenaed to appear in court as part of a sexual harassment lawsuit involving her agent. Jen was leaving a party in Los Angeles on Thursday night, the launch of her yoga trainer's new workout DVD, when she was served with legal papers. The actress has been asked to appear in court as a witness as part of a sexual harassment lawsuit filed against her agent, Todd Shemarya. Todd is being sued by his former assistant, Heather Devlin, who claims she was "exposed to a constant barrage of offensive sexual, racial and religious comments," before she was fired from his firm. Heather's suit also alleges Todd created a hostile work environment by exposing her to internet porn, "parading naked" around her, and even mocking his Hollywood clients - who also include Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt. Todd has denied the allegations, branding Heather "a disgruntled employee" who is "trying to extort money.”

A source said: "They haven't booked a venue or made any solid plans. He just knows he wants to do it in April, and he's been asking what is involved in a traditional Russian wedding ceremony." Elena’s been teaching him Russian for his role as Whiplash in Iron Man 2, so they’ve been getting to know each other really well. Elena even dumped her Russian pop star boyfriend, Dima Bilan, for the 57-year-old actor. So before all the crazy reality shows came out, I'd make my own stuff and film it and have fun getting hurt." Madonna has brushed off criticism of her overly-muscled body, insisting she needs to keep in shape because it's her job. Madge has sparked concerns about her obsession with fitness with her manly biceps and frequent trips to the gym. The 51-year-old pop star is adamant she needs a rigorous training regime in order to cope with her strenuous on-stage dance routines. She told the British TV show GMTV: "(I do it) for health reasons, and for aesthetic reasons. If I have to go out on stage and, you know, jump around in a pair of hot pants I better look good and also when I perform I'm like an athlete and I have to be in good shape. I'm not panicked, I just know what my job is and I know that if I want to be able to wear whatever I want to wear on stage then my body better look good."

Star magazine claims that the couple were having their worst fight ever. “We went out and checked to make sure it’s a false alarm, and if it’s false, we leave. That’s basic protocol. That one was a real basic false alarm,” LAPD Sgt. Kyle Kirkman said to Usmagazine. So was there a fight? So far this week the Jolie-Pitts have been content. Jennifer Aniston is to share the secret of her stunning body after teaming up with her Yoga Instructor to launch a DVD workout. The slender star has been so impressed with Mandy Ingber's exercise sessions that she leaped at the chance to endorse her upcoming home workout disc. Jen filmed a personal introduction for the Yogalosophy DVD and is set to host a launch party for her pal at the Sunset Towers hotel in Los Angeles. In her video message on the DVD, Jen says, "Mandy brought yoga into my life. This workout will change your body and your mind." A source tells New York Post gossip column PageSix, "Jen works out with Mandy up to five times a week, and they have become such great friends she even takes Mandy on vacation with her. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes will apparently be trying for another baby in the New Year after agreeing the time is right to give three-year-old daughter Suri a sibling. A friend of the couple, who recently celebrated their third wedding anniversary, told America’s OK! Magazine: “She no longer feels like she’s just Mrs. Cruise. She’s her own person again. She and Tom have their disagreements, but deep down they love each other very much. That’s what is important.” The 47-year-old Mission:Impossible star and 30-year-old Katie have been thinking about adding to their family for some time but it had been reported that Katie, who recently finished shooting The Extra Man Mary and Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, wanted to star in another box office hit before she expanded her family.
The Jackson family will not be able to mourn Michael Jackson come this New Year as it now has been said that no charges will be laid against Dr. Conrad Murray until next year. A source tells Los Angeles Times that the charges are “months rather than weeks away”. It seems that police are still investigating. This was the doctor who had given The King of Pop the propofol that killed him. However, Murray has denied doing anything wrong, and says he gave Michael the proper medical aid when he discovered he wasn’t breathing. Hmm… seems like the perfect cover up, we hope that this investigation ends soon.

It was from then on he admits that he’s been relegated to supporting roles instead of lead roles. “It's not that advisable to be honest. It's not very easy. And, honestly, I would not advise any actor necessarily, if he was really thinking of his career, to come out...” Rupert says, adding: “The fact is that you could not be, and still cannot be, a 25-year-old homosexual trying to make it in the British film business or the American film business or even the Italian film business. It just doesn't work and you're going to hit a brick wall at some point. You're going to manage to make it roll for a certain amount of time, but at the first sign of failure they'll cut you right off. And I'm sick of saying, 'Yes, it's probably my own fault.”

David Hasselhoff has been placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold at a Los Angeles hospital after suffering a seizure, according to U.S. media reports. Apparently, the Baywatch star's daughter, Hayley, called emergency services when her father fell ill and he was taken by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he is being held under the California Welfare and Institutions Code 5150, which allows authorities to take into custody those they believe may be a danger to themselves or others, are gravely disabled or suffer from a mental disorder. He is expected to remain there under a 72-hour hold. A spokesperson for the L.A. City Fire Department confirms: "Paramedics were called to (a house) in Encino for medical aid. Paramedics arrived at approximately 11.51 am and later transported the patient a nearby hospital." The Hoff has a long history of alcoholism and was admitted to rehab amid reports he accidentally hit a doctor during a booze binge in October last year. He has also been hospitalized on two separate occasions this year, reportedly suffering from alcohol poisoning. Oh dear... let's hope that this time, finally, David manages to defeat his demons as he can't have too many chances left to him...
Roman Polanski’s family has thanked French President Nicolas Sarkozy for his efforts in helping securing bail for the disgraced movie director. Mathilde Seigner tells Le Parisien newspaper, "I wouldn’t go so far as to say that it is thanks to the President that Roman has been freed, but he has been super. The President has been very effective.” Recent rumours suggested the President’s wife, Carla Bruni, had urged her husband to intervene as Roman and his wife, actress Emmanuelle Seigner, are longtime friends of the singer. However, the French President had come under fire for offering his support to the director in October, after he insisted a 76-year-old man should not have been arrested for crimes he committed decades ago. Roman, who fled to France in 1978 as he awaited sentencing for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl at a Hollywood party, was arrested by Swiss authorities while attending a film festival in Zurich in September. We shall just have to see where this whole sorry saga ends as even the director’s victim is calling for the 32-year-old charges to be dropped…
